How's this set rolling in...

Looking up at the sky has been a lot more interesting than staring at a calm ocean here in Byron Bay.

You could have thrown a rave party down the beach on Monday as the night sky strobed away for hours before the heavens finally opened to a thunderous clap.

While we're getting plenty of impressive storms at present, we're going to be looking at small waves for the rest of the week. With that said, check the back beaches for a few peaks to keep you cool.
